"Jesus Christ calls us to be one with Him and one with each other, to live in Him and to live for others."

Mt Zion Lutheran Church is located at the corner of Chicago Ave. and E. 57th St. in South Minneapolis. We believe we are here for one simple purpose: to share the good news that God sent His Son, not to condemn us, but to save us.

This news is like no other news. It frees us from looking out for ourselves and trying to survive at all costs. It frees us to love, to live a life of thanksgiving, and to die without fear.

We need to hear this good news again and again, because like you, we are not immune from fear. Every day, we forget that God has set us free to serve rather than to look out for ourselves. All that we do should be in the name of Jesus.

We invite you to hear God's message of forgiveness, comfort, and freedom and to grow with us.
